Terms
Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Front Desk AI service and the website at oltura.co (together, the "Service"), provided by Oltura — sole proprietorship of Rahul Chandravanshi, a registered Indian MSME (UDYAM-MH-19-0444671) at Room No. 2, Gopal Society, Daulat Nagar, Borivali East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400066, India ("Oltura", "we", "us"). By purchasing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
The Service
Front Desk AI is an AI receptionist you embed on your website (or run from a hosted page we provide) that answers common visitor questions and captures enquiries — a visitor's name, phone number, and what they need — so your team can follow up. Exactly what is included is described on our Pricing page.
Your account and responsibilities
- You are responsible for the knowledge-base information you ask us to represent, and for keeping your contact and business details accurate.
- You must not use the Service unlawfully, to mislead your own customers, or to store or solicit sensitive personal data it is not designed for (for example, payment card numbers, government IDs, or health data).
- You are responsible for how you follow up on the enquiries the Service captures for you.
Fees, payment and billing
The Service is offered as a single annual plan at the price shown on the Pricing page, inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is collected once, up front, for a twelve-month term via our payment processor, Razorpay. The plan does not auto-renew — a new term requires a fresh payment. Renewal pricing may differ and will be shown before you pay.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund policy, which forms part of these Terms. Note the two clocks: the money-back window runs from Go Live, while the twelve-month term runs from the date of purchase.
Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. In short: the business contact and payment details you provide are used to run your account, and the end-user contact details the assistant captures are processed on your behalf and made available to you. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect enquiries from your own visitors and for informing them as your local law requires.
AI limitations — no guarantees of accuracy or outcomes
The assistant generates replies using AI models and a knowledge base. It can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. It is a first-line assistant, not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice, and not a substitute for a human. We do not guarantee any particular number of enquiries, conversions, response quality, or business result. Where the assistant is unsure — for example on prices or policies not in its knowledge base — it is designed to offer a callback rather than guess.
Availability and service credit
We work to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. It may be paused for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
Our availability is our providers' availability. The assistant runs on third-party infrastructure and third-party AI models (see below). When one of them is down, slow, or refusing traffic, the Service is degraded or unavailable, and we cannot restore it faster than they do.
Degraded mode means the assistant cannot generate AI replies and falls back to a fixed holding message carrying your phone number. It is not the Service working as sold. We are building a zero-model form so the assistant can still take a visitor's name and number in that state; until we tell you in writing that it is switched on for your account, degraded mode does not capture enquiries — it shows the holding message and nothing more.
Service credit. For every 24 hours in total — they need not be consecutive — that your assistant spends in degraded mode during your term, we add one month to your term at no charge. It is counted in whole 24-hour blocks across the whole term, is given as extra time only (not as cash or a part-refund), and is capped at two months per term. It does not cover maintenance we announce in advance, time the assistant is unreachable because of a change on your own website, or periods in which your account has reached the conversation allowance for your plan — reaching the allowance you bought is the plan behaving as described on our Pricing page, not an outage.
How we measure it, honestly: automatic measurement of degraded time is something we are still building — it is not yet running in production. Until we email active customers to say it is live, we will work the credit out from what our records do show, together with periods you report to us; we will not treat "we didn't measure it" as a reason to refuse a credit you can evidence. Once the measurement is live, the credit is calculated from our own service records and applied to your term.
Third-party services
The Service runs on infrastructure and processors including Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and AI inference) and Razorpay (payments). Replies are generated by an AI inference provider: today that is Cloudflare Workers AI, with Groq on some configurations. We may change, add, or remove inference providers — including consolidating on a single one — where that improves reply quality, cost, or reliability. The providers actually in use at any time are listed in our Privacy Policy, which we keep current; a change of provider does not change any of your rights under these Terms. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' terms.
Intellectual property
The Service, including the widget, hosted pages, and our software, remains our intellectual property. You keep ownership of your business content and the enquiry data captured for you. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the Service for you.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time; cancellation and any refund follow the refund policy. We may suspend or end the Service for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, or where required by law, and will give reasonable notice where we can.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, the content you ask us to represent, or your handling of enquiries captured for you.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-protection rights you have under Indian law.
Changes
We may update these Terms; the current version always appears here with its effective date. Material changes affecting active customers will be notified by email.
